      On the streets of Guizhou during the start of autumn, the long queues in front of the ice slurry stalls are even more intense than in the height of summer. While the north is busy "putting on autumn fat," the people of Guizhou are taming the "autumn tiger" with a bowl of ice slurry.


      這道貴州特色冷飲,以冰塊、時令水果和蒸熟的糯米為主要原料。其制作關(guān)鍵在于:制作者將冰塊與糯米一同放入容器,研磨至冰塊變成細(xì)碎的冰沙加入當(dāng)季切塊的新鮮水果,再混入花生紅糖點(diǎn)綴,簡單拌勻即可收獲滿滿一碗清涼。


      This signature cold drink of Guizhou is made primarily from ice cubes, seasonal fruits, and steamed glutinous rice. The key to its preparation lies in the process of "pounding": the maker places the ice cubes and glutinous rice into a container, grinding them until the ice turns into fine shavings, then adds seasonal fruits and mixes in peanuts and brown sugar for garnish.
